The HIGH END is moving from Munich to Vienna in 2026

As a trade show organizer, we consider it our responsibility to constantly optimize our trade shows and secure their future so that you as an exhibitor can continue to participate successfully. It is no longer a secret that we have decided to relocate the HIGH END 2026 to Vienna. Today we are providing you with background details so that as an exhibitor, you can understand our reasons for this step.

Here is the main message: The upcoming HIGH END from May 15 to 18, 2025 will once again take place at the MOC Event Center in Munich, home to the event since 2004, marking its 20th staging next year. At the end of September, you already received your invitation containing all the important information. The switch to Vienna will occur in 2026 at the Austria Center Vienna (ACV). The ACV is a modern event location in the Donau City area, which already proved itself as a venue during the FINEST AUDIO SHOW Vienna in 2023. The FAS Vienna will be staged there for the second time in November 2024.

Why the move from the MOC to the ACV?

The Austria Center Vienna offers promising prospects for the further development of the HIGH END audio show. The event grounds underwent extensive renovations over the past few years, offering us excellent exhibition opportunities, featuring a superb digital infrastructure and state-of-the-art event technology. At the ACV we can offer you 134 rooms in various sizes. Several halls and spacious rooms are available for exhibitors to set up their individual stands. The future in Munich, on the other hand, was uncertain: There was an ongoing renovation backlog for many years, and the continuation of our long-standing contracts was unresolved at the time. As a trade show organizer, we need planning certainty, just as you do as our customers, and it was not readily available.

Why Vienna?

Vienna is situated in the heart of Europe, easily accessible and, as a music capital of the world, provides the perfect backdrop for an audio show. Several times, this major Austrian city has been voted the world's most liveable city, attracting visitors from around the globe, with its rich cultural heritage and diverse historical buildings. We are convinced that this new location offers not only a distinct logistical advantage for the HIGH END, it will also be favorable in terms of atmosphere.

For the HIGH END, the move to Vienna symbolizes a new beginning, renewal and future-driven prospects. With the decision for the new location, we are taking a forward-looking view to ensure the success of our trade show. We are certain we have made the right decision, and we are looking forward to the new opportunities and possibilities that the Austria Center Vienna offers us.

The Board of the HIGH END SOCIETY e.V. has been actively involved in the further development of the successful HIGH END and supports the decision one hundred percent.
