The international audio show continues to play an essential role as the most important marketplaces for the audio industry

The registration period for the 40th HIGH END, which will take place from 18th to 21st May 2023, has now begun, with invitations winging their way to developers, producers, distributors and specialist dealers. The event organiser, the company HIGH END SOCIETY Service GmbH, has yet again recorded a rapid influx of initial registrations and expects to receive an extremely promising number of bookings. Interested companies, associations and organisations can register to participate in the leading international trade show for the audio industry until 30th November 2022.

Managing Director Stefan Dreischärf and his team are already working hard to plan the event. After the successful relaunch of the HIGH END in May 2022, the event organiser expects to experience extremely high demand among exhibitors for 2023. “The interest within the industry is immense and has even grown due to the resounding success of the event”, explains Dreischärf. “The positive mood at the last exhibition soon became a talking point throughout the industry. Anyone who erred on the side of caution this year now wants to return to the event in 2023”, states the man behind the show, delighted with recent developments. Based on the registrations received so far, bookings may well reach the high level achieved in previous years, and overbooking is indeed possible. The sought-after atrium rooms in particular, which offer perfect conditions for sound demonstrations, attract long waiting lists every year. In order to positively respond to all registrations, it is also important that optimal use is made of the space available in the exhibition halls.

A balanced mix of a business and interactive trade show

After a two-year break, the HIGH END 2022 yet again demonstrated its importance as the world’s leading audio show. It is one of the most important marketplaces for the entire international industry and will continue to play an essential role in driving and promoting business relations in the future. At the HIGH END, personal encounters play just as decisive a role as the live experience. The heightened focus on the B2B side of the industry in particular contributed to the success and satisfaction of the exhibitors in 2022. For the first time, the HIGH END was exclusively open to trade visitors on its first two days. “The feedback received from our customers was extremely positive and confirmed that we made the right decision”, states Stefan Dreischärf. “We are convinced that the two trade visitor days played an important role in helping our customers achieve impressive economic results and we will therefore continue to pursue this concept at the HIGH END 2023.” The extended duration gives exhibitors the chance to plan a balanced schedule in advance and provides them with wider scope for intensive discussions and essential contact maintenance.

What’s more, the HIGH END will also continue to be a fixed date in the diaries of everyone passionate about excellent music reproduction and high-quality hi-fi technology when it opens its doors to the general public on the third weekend of May. Visitors to the MOC Event Center in Munich can discover a true paradise for audiophiles and music-lovers, with the latest trends, exciting innovations and, of course, perfect sound. In a wide variety of demonstrations in the atrium rooms and sound cabins, renowned exhibitors and creative start-ups will present the perfect combination of music and emotions and treat their listeners to unforgettable sound experiences.

Special areas: a stage dedicated to professional skills and expertise

The new supplier trade show IPS – International Parts + Supply will also return next year. In parallel with the HIGH END, the IPS will take place from 18th to 21st May 2023 and remain a solely B2B event that is only open to industry experts. It offers supplier companies to the audio industry an ideal platform with products ranging from circuit boards, loudspeaker cabinets and cables to measurement technology, all presented in a separate area in Hall 1 tailored to their target groups. In another colour-coded special exhibition space, well-known companies present mobile sound equipment in a wide variety of models in the WORLD OF HEADPHONES. Right here on the spot, visitors can try out and compare a multitude of different headphones.
