RME presents the ADI-2 Pro EX

RME presents the ADI-2 Pro EX – the next generation of its reference high-end AD/DA converter, USB interface, and headphone amplifier. Building on the ADI-2 Pro FS R Black Edition, the new model combines professional-grade conversion, flexible connectivity, and extensive monitoring features in a single unit. The ADI-2 Pro EX integrates a high-end AD/DA converter, dual headphone amplifier, multi-format converter (AES, SPDIF, ADAT), DSD recorder, and an audio measurement frontend supporting sample rates of up to 768 kHz.

The EX version introduces several enhancements: a newly designed, airflow-optimized chassis in the style of the ADI-2/4 Pro, a lockable USB-C port, a TS trigger output, increased output power, channel-independent DC protection, and an extended power supply protection system. It ships with the lockable NT-RME-13 universal power supply.
The ADI-2 Pro EX is scheduled for availability in early Q3 2026.
