HIGH END® 201130 Years of passion
Europe's largest and most famous trade fair for high-quality consumer electronics will celebrate its 30th anniversary in Munich in 2011. Over the last three decades, the HIGH ENDŽ has risen to become Europe's most successful event. At the same time, the HIGH ENDŽ is also the oldest and largest trade fair of its kind in Europe. For the 30th time in succession, connoisseurs from all over the world have the opportunity to admire the industry's latest developments at the HIGH ENDŽ show.
The HIGH ENDŽ started up in 1982 in Düsseldorf-Germany, then subsequently took place in Frankfurt for 21 years and relocated to Munich in 2004, where it has continued to expand. The Munich Operation Center (M,O,C,) in the North of Munich has played host to the oldest trade fair of this kind since 2004. The once exclusive yet limited show for sound enthusiasts, which took place in a hotel, has, thanks to its change of location, developed into a multimedia trade fair that reflects all aspects of modern society. Magnificent engineering, sensual analogue dreams, a grand exhibition of exquisite devices and perfection. The HIGH ENDŽ is the most important platform for manufacturers and distributors of internationally renowned first-class consumer electronics products. The spectrum of products exhibited, ranges from fine mechanical precision devices for sampling vinyl records, valve-armoured developments with timeless charm and monster multi-channel amplifiers to Blu-ray players, connectible and multimedia compatible systems, tiny MP3 players and 3D flat screen technologies. The HIGH ENDŽ unites vinyl fans and the disciples of modern streaming, who after all share the same aim: good music. Both, hand-made limited series components and modern multimedia solutions of the hightech age are exhibited there.
